Interesting fact
The 1 Ducat coin from Denmark, issued during the reign of Christian V in 1691, is interesting because it was made of gold that was 97.9% pure, which is a relatively high purity level for a circulating coin. This suggests that the coin was intended to be a symbol of wealth and prosperity, and its gold content was meant to convey the value and prestige of the Danish monarchy.
