On 14 October 1886, the Durussel company in Bern delivered 18 gold replicas of various original stamps to the painter Louis Niederberger in Kerns. Four pieces of this type, originally from 1730 were reminted.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1886 1 Ducat coin from the Canton of Obwalden (Unterwalden) is that it was minted during a time when Switzerland was still using a variety of different currencies, and the Ducat was one of the few coins that was widely accepted across the country. This coin was also unique in that it was made of gold, which was a rare and valuable material at the time, and it was only produced in small quantities, making it a highly sought-after collector's item today.
