Interesting fact
The 1 Dreier coin from Brandenburg-Franconia, minted during the reign of George Frederick I (1575-1580), was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to feature a depiction of a Protestant church on its reverse side. This was a bold move by the Protestant ruler George Frederick I, as it signaled his support for the Protestant Reformation and distinguished his coinage from that of his Catholic contemporaries.
