Interesting fact

The 1995 Liberian $1 coin, also known as the "Mayflower" coin, has an interesting design feature. The coin's obverse (front) side features a portrait of a Pilgrim man and woman, while the reverse (back) side depicts a replica of the Mayflower ship, which carried the Pilgrims from England to America in 1620. This design was chosen to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the Mayflower's landing in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
