Interesting fact
The Gobrecht Dollar, also known as the "Pattern Dollar" or "Gobrecht's Dollar," was a trial coin minted in 1836 by the United States. It was designed by Christian Gobrecht, the third Chief Engraver of the United States Mint. The coin features a Liberty Head on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse. It was minted in very small quantities, with only 30 pieces struck in copper and 20 in silver. This makes it one of the rarest and most valuable coins in the world, with some specimens selling for millions of dollars at auction.
