The Frédéric Chopin: Vienna coin was issued to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Frédéric Chopin, a renowned Polish composer and pianist. The coin features an image of Chopin on the obverse (front side) and the Vienna State Opera on the reverse (back side), where Chopin had his final performance in 1848. The coin's design was created by the Polish artist, Andrzej Nowakowski.
