Interesting fact

The 1995-1999 Trinidad and Tobago 1 Dollar (FAO) circulating commemorative coin features a unique design that showcases the country's rich agricultural heritage. The coin's reverse side depicts a stylized image of a farmer working in a rice field, surrounded by palm trees and other crops. This design was chosen to highlight the importance of agriculture in Trinidad and Tobago's economy and to commemorate the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)'s efforts to promote sustainable agriculture and food security worldwide.
