Comment

The description of the reverse is a mistake in Krause, it's a pineapple and not the map of the Bermuda Islands. In Schön, the description says "Pineapple" and Schön also gives corresponding KM# references and for this coin, Schön says it's KM# 92.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1987-1988 Cayman Islands Elizabeth II (Pineapple) silver coin is that it features a unique pineapple design on the reverse side, which is not commonly seen on coins. The pineapple is a symbol of hospitality and warmth, which reflects the welcoming nature of the Cayman Islands. Additionally, the coin's silver composition and 18g weight make it a valuable collector's item for numismatists.
