Reverse
The reverse features the famous Voyageur design by Emanuel Hahn, which graced Canadian silver dollars from 1935 to 1986. Two men are paddling the illustrated canoe: a European voyager sits at the stern, and an Aboriginal man at the bow. Between them lie bundles of wrapped furs, one of which, at the forward end, bears the inscription "HB" for Hudson's Bay Company. In the background, two windswept pines stand at the center of a smooth, semicircular island, and stylized vertical lines represent the aurora borealis in the sky. On the reverse, the engraved canoe, two men and pine trees are enhanced by rose gold plating. Also engraved are the words "CANADA" and "DOLLAR", and the year "2018".

Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 2018 Canadian Silver $1 Elizabeth II (Le voyageur) coin is that it features a unique reverse design that showcases a voyageur, a French-Canadian fur trader, paddling a canoe through the waters of a Canadian lake. The design is a nod to Canada's rich history and culture, and the use of a voyageur as the central image represents the country's strong connection to its natural resources and the importance of the fur trade in its early development.
