The impressive motif shows a pectoral which was discovered in the tomb of Tutankhamun. The breast jewelry is a falcon holding the hieroglyphics for life and eternity in its claws. Above the falcon´s head shines a disc of sunlight. This pectoral is on exhibit at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Each coin is individually numbered on the edge and is therefore unique.

Comment
Falcon PectoralUnlike most of King Tutankhamun's pectorals, this beautiful gold pectoral has no chain and no counterpoise. The artifact is formed of a falcon with outspread wings that circle round to frame the head, which is surmounted by a sun disk. It represents the god Ra-Horakhty, the sun god of the day. The head faces sideways and all the details are inlaid with lapis lazuli; the sun disk is inlaid with red carnelian, to show its real brown color. The body, the wings, and the tail are inlaid with turquoise, carnelian and lapis lazuli that form a fascinating cloisonné piece of artwork. The gold talons of the falcon hold two circular shen signs, symbols of eternal power and above it there are two ankh signs, symbols of eternal life.
