The reverse of the $1, the third and final coin in a three-year series is modelled by Royal Mint engraver Robert Elderton and is based on an original design by Bermudian John R. Warwick entitled “Deliverance Sailing to Virginia in 1610”.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1998 Bermuda $1 coin featuring Elizabeth II (Deliverance) is that it has a unique error. Some coins were minted with a misprinted date, showing "199" instead of "1998." This error has increased the coin's value among collectors.
