Struck by The Royal Mint in Llantrisant Wales.
The coin was issued in the usual square plastic jewel case.
It was also included in the annual BU seven coin Year Set.

Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1980 New Zealand 1 Dollar coin featuring Elizabeth II (Berry Portrait; Fantail Bird) is that it was designed by New Zealand artist and sculptor, Arnold Machin. Machin's design features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on one side and a fantail bird on the other, which is a native species found in New Zealand. The coin was minted in copper-nickel and weighs 28.28 grams. It was issued as a non-circulating coin, meaning it was not intended for general circulation but rather as a collector's item.
