Interesting fact
The Abu Simbel temple, which is featured on the coin, is actually a pair of temples located in Egypt, built over 3,000 years ago. The temples were carved out of the mountain side and feature four colossal statues of Pharaoh Ramses II. The temple was relocated in the 1960s to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser, and it is now considered one of Egypt's most impressive archaeological sites.
