Comment
Coin struck by the RAM but issued by Australia Post as change into circulation from 3500 Post Offices Australia wide. The coins are featuring 26 classic Aussie icons from letters of the Alphabet from A to Z.This coin is the Letter "T" for "Thongs". In Australia, we're known for our great love of thongs and we wear them nearly everywhere - from the beach to the shops, and even the local RSL. They're perfect in summer for protecting feet from burning sand, sizzling footpaths and prickly bindies. But dedicated Aussies can be spotted wearing them all year round. Kylie Minogue rode a giant thong at the 2000 Sydney Olympics ceremony.
A press in album for the 26 coins was available for $9 or you can buy the full set of 26 coins in a special tube including the album for $49.
