Comment

The RAM released this Aluminium-bronze NCLT coin in a coincard to commemorate 200 years since the Benevolent Society was formed in 1813 by banker and newspaper editor Edward Smith Hall. The "Benevolent Society" was the forerunner to the "Bank of New South Wales" which later became todays "Westpac Bank" (Western Pacific Banking Corporation).
