Comment

Struck by The Perth Mint and released by NZ Post this crown sized NCLT coin came as part of a numbered two coin set. Maximum mintage was 20,000 but only 16,547 sets were produced. The other coin is a NCLT Australian oversized dollar. Each coin portrays a living icon, instantly recognisable as a symbol of its nation. The NZ coin has the Rowi (Kiwi) of New Zealand and the Australian coin has the Kangaroo of Australia.

It was also released in a separate Folder by the Perth Mint

Interesting fact

The 2005 New Zealand $1 coin featuring Elizabeth II (4th Portrait; Rowi Kiwi) is a non-circulating coin, meaning it was not intended for general circulation and was instead produced for collectors. It's made of aluminum bronze and weighs 20 grams. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
