In 2016 the RAM released this NCLT Aluminium-bronze Coin to Commemorate the First Mints of Australia with the design depicting the original Sydney Gold Sovereign.The first Mint to open in Australia was the Sydney Mint in 1855.
The second Mint to open in Australia was the Melbourne Mint in 1872.
The third Mint to open in Australia was the Perth Mint in 1899.
The Royal Australian Mint opened in 1965.
The coin was issued in a 4 coin set with"C" Mintmark & [M], [P] & [S] Privymarks. (To signify the above 4 Mints)
