Released as a NCLT coin by the RAM in 1994 this coin commemorates 10 years of the $1 coin which was introduced in 1984 replacing the old $1 Note.
It was available with a "C" Mintmark at the Public Gallery Press at the RAM in Canberra & with "M" & "S" Mintmarks from the Mobile Press at the Royal Shows in Melbourne & Sydney respectively. See examples below for the ‘M’ & ‘S’ Mintmarked versions.
