Comment

This MOR (Mob of Roo's) coin was introduced by the RAM in May 1984 to replace the $1 Note. It is the only circulation version of the $1 coin to have the Arnold Machin effigy of the Queen, as the 1985 version switched to the Raphael David Maklouf effigy.

The Uncirculated and Proof sets for 1984 interestingly did not feature a MOR dollar coin.
An uncirculated version of the MOR was released separately by the RAM in a square red bubble coincard.
