The striking of these pieces was authorized by the decree of June, 1862 in an amount to be decided by the General Assembly. Only a few patterns were struck.La acuñación de estas monedas fué autorizada por decreto de junio de 1862, en cantidad a ser fijada por la Asamblea General. Sólo fueron acuñados unos pocos ensayos.
