This coin belongs to the 2007 Series dedicated to the Popes of the 20th Century.
Paul VI: His main effort was oriented towards the culmination of the great Council, which his predecessor had inaugurated. Furthermore, Paul VI devoted much effort to promoting reconciliation between the different Churches. Of the five encyclicals that he promulgated during his pontificate (1963-1978), one stands out on the integral development of the person, 'Populorum Progressio'.
