Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1883 Hawaiian silver dime is that it was minted during the reign of King Kalākaua I, who was the second king of the Kingdom of Hawaii and ruled from 1874 to 1891. The coin features a portrait of the king on one side and an image of a Hawaiian goddess on the other. The coin was minted in San Francisco and was used as currency in Hawaii until the overthrow of the monarchy in 1893. Today, it is a highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists and historians.
