Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1 Décime Dupré (high module) 5-9 (1796-1800) coin from France is that it was designed by French sculptor and engraver, Augustin Dupré. Dupré was a prominent artist during the French Revolution and his designs were used on many coins and medals of the time. The coin features a portrait of a young woman representing Liberty, and on the reverse, a wreath surrounding the denomination. The use of copper as the material for the coin was a common practice during this period, as it was a readily available and affordable metal.
