Interesting fact

The Adolf Fredrik 1770 coin was minted during a time of great change in Sweden. It was the first coin to feature the image of King Adolf Fredrik, who ruled Sweden from 1751 to 1771. The coin's design was created by the famous Swedish engraver, Erik Palm, and it features a portrait of the king on one side and the Swedish coat of arms on the other. The coin was minted using silver that was mined from the famous Sala Silver Mine in Sweden, which was one of the largest silver mines in Europe at the time. Despite being minted over 250 years ago, many of these coins still exist today and are highly sought after by collectors.
