Reverse
The photograph featured on the left side of the coin shows Queen Elizabeth I as she walks off a plane
back into the United Kingdom on February 8, 1952, after hearing of the death of her father King George VI
while she was on her first tour of Kenya. This would have been one of the first times that the British public
would have seen their new monarch.
The photograph featured on the right side of coin shows Queen Elizabeth Il as she greets crowds outside
Windsor Castle in Berkshire as she celebrates her 90th birthday - the year after she became Britain's longest
reigning monarch in 2015.
The photographs are divided by a sceptre entwined with sprigs of oak inspired by the House of Windsor Crest,
with St Edward's crown, the official coronation crown featured at both ends and the shield of the Royal Coat of
Arms in the centre.

Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the coin is that it features a unique bimetallic design, with a gold-plated copper-nickel center surrounded by a gold-plated copper-nickel ring. This distinctive design element adds to the coin's aesthetic appeal and sets it apart from other coins.
