Interesting fact
The Castle of Mey, which is featured on the reverse side of the coin, is a historic castle located on the north coast of Scotland, near John o' Groats. It was built in the 16th century and was once the home of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, who spent her summer holidays there. The castle is now owned by the Queen Elizabeth II and is open to the public.
