One interesting fact about this coin is that it commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Jutland, which was a naval battle fought during World War I between the British Grand Fleet and the German High Seas Fleet. The battle took place on May 31 - June 1, 1916, and was the largest naval battle of the war.
