The 1 Centésimo coin from Chile, made of Aluminium and weighing 3 grams, was the first coin in the country to feature the iconic Chilean poet and Nobel laureate, Pablo Neruda, on its obverse side. This design was introduced in 1960 and remained on the coin until 1963.
