The breakdown of the mintages for 1876 and 1877 is not shown in the U. S. Mint Report; all 10 million were reported in the report for fiscal 1877.
The 1876 1 Centavo and 2 1/2 Centavos were the first regular issue coins minted by a U. S. mint for a foreign government.

There is also a 1876 variation minted on a thin planchet (1.71 grams; NCV# mv1cv-aa01,p).

Interesting fact

The 1 Centavo coin from Venezuela made of Nickel brass, weighing 2.3g, and minted from 1876 to 1877, is interesting because it was one of the first coins to be issued by Venezuela after it gained independence from Spain in 1811. The coin's design features the national emblem of Venezuela, the bald eagle, and the country's motto, "Dios y Federación," which translates to "God and Federation." This coin was also the first to be minted in the country, and it marked the beginning of Venezuela's transition from using Spanish colonial currency to its own national currency.
