Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Pattern 1 Cent - Victoria (Pattern) 1861 from Nova Scotia (Canadian provinces) made of Bronze weighing 4.69 g is that it was designed by William H. Birmingham, a prominent Canadian engraver and artist. Birmingham's design features a youthful Queen Victoria on the obverse (front) side of the coin, with a wreath of maple leaves surrounding her portrait. The reverse (back) side of the coin features a crowned shield with the coat of arms of Nova Scotia, surrounded by another wreath of maple leaves. This coin is considered a rare and valuable collector's item, with only a few known examples remaining in existence.
