Interesting fact
The Liberian 1890 Pattern 1 Cent coin was designed by Charles E. Barber, who was also the designer of the US Barber dime, quarter, and half dollar. The coin features a portrait of Liberian President Joseph Jenkins Roberts on the obverse and a depiction of a Liberian flag on the reverse. It's a rare and valuable coin, with only 100 pieces minted, making it a highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
