The 1855 coin exists with varieties:
- Trial strike with stars flanking legend, smaller shield; larger letters, numbers and mint mark; smaller Javanese script
- Trial strike on card board with larger shield
- Malaysian value is more cramped, Javanese with larger characters
- 2 stars between dutch text (disapproved)
- Trial of the normal emission on special planchet
The former split according to type of legends, was not good, look here:
