KM# 307.1: William III (1849-1890)
KM# 307.2: Wilhelmina (1890-1948)

The 1855 coin exists with varieties:
  • Trial strike with stars flanking legend, smaller shield; larger letters, numbers and mint mark; smaller Javanese script
  • Trial strike on card board with larger shield
  • Malaysian value is more cramped, Javanese with larger characters
  • 2 stars between dutch text (disapproved)
  • Trial of the normal emission on special planchet
