Hartill says these were cast in the Shaanxi region, but there are seemingly no known copper mints active at this time. With that being said, this mintmark was last used on coins from the Shaanzhou Mint, whose closing date is uncertain, so it is possible Shannzhou cast these.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was produced during the reign of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, who was known for his love of art and culture. As a result, the coin features intricate calligraphy and designs that reflect the cultural achievements of the time. Additionally, the use of bronze in the coin's production was a significant departure from the traditional use of copper, and it marked a turning point in the history of Chinese coinage.
