This is an unpublished variety of 'Boo-su'.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Tongzhi (Tongbao; Boo-soo) coin is that it was the first coin to feature the portrait of the emperor, Tongzhi, on the obverse side, which was a departure from the traditional Chinese coin design that featured symbols or characters. This change in design was a significant departure from the traditional Chinese coinage and marked a new era in Chinese numismatics.
