Comment
In 1766, the Aksu Mint transfered its casting to Ushi. It was only transfered back to Aksu in 1798.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing dynasty, who ruled China for an unprecedented 60 years, from 1736 to 1796. This coin was minted in the Xinjiang region, which was an important hub for trade and cultural exchange between China and Central Asia during the Qing dynasty. The coin's design features the Chinese character "通" (tong) on one side, which means "circulation" or "currency," and the Manchu language inscription "ᠴᠴᠠᠴᠠᠭᠴᠠᠭᠠᠴᠠᠭᠠᠨ ᠠᠠᠮᠠᠮᠠᠠᠮᠠᠨ ᠠᠠᠮᠠᠮᠠᠠᠮᠠᠨ ᠠᠠᠮᠠᠮᠠᠠᠮᠠᠨ" (Qianlong Emperor's currency) on the other side. The coin's copper material and 3.82g weight were also standard for coins of this denomination during the Qianlong era.
