These were coins cast for use by palace guards an eunuchs, with an official weight of 1.6 Qian and composed of high quality brass (60% copper; 40% zinc).

Many varieties exist:

  • Type D: 乙 radical in 乾; コ and slanting bottom 辶 radicals in 通; protruding top ᠪᠣᠣ
  • Type E: 乙 radical in 乾; コ and slanting bottom 辶 radicals in 通; round top ᠪᠣᠣ
  • Type F1: し radical in 乾; cursive ᠴᡳᠣᠸᠠᠨ
  • Type H (Shanlong): 缶 radical instead of 生 radical in 隆

The Shanlongs are posthumous issues (either from when Qianlong was a retired emperor or after he died).
