Comment
La Paz mint. A proposed pattern by Clemente Torretti (hence the "C. T. " initials) for his failed project of a mint in La Paz, very rare. Two versions of pattern, only difference is KM# Pn25 has letter "E" on rock, below eagle, on reverse, and KM# Pn26 has no letter.
Interesting fact
The Pattern 1 Boliviano coin from Bolivia, made of silver in 1868, features a unique design element - the image of a llama, which is a South American mammal, on its reverse side. This coin was part of a series of pattern coins minted in the late 19th century, and the llama was chosen as a symbol of Bolivia's rich natural resources and cultural heritage. This coin is a rare and valuable collector's item, and its unique design makes it stand out among other coins from the same era.
