Interesting fact

The Pattern 1 Baht coin was designed to commemorate King Rama IX's (also known as King Bhumibol Adulyadej) 50th birthday. The coin features the king's image on one side and the Thai emblem on the other. It was minted in 1950 and was the first coin to feature the king's image. This coin is considered a rare and valuable collector's item, especially in mint condition.
