Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique blend of both Western and Islamic influences in its design. The coin was minted during the reign of Filippo Maria Visconti, the Duke of Milan, and Ulugh Muhammad Khan, the Sultan of the Golden Horde, which highlights the cultural exchange and cooperation between the Italian city-states and the Mongol Empire during the 15th century. The coin's design features the Christian cross on one side and Arabic script on the other, reflecting the diverse cultural influences of the time.
