- From 1912 to 1920, coins were minted only at the Bombay mint, they had no mint marks
- Coins from 1923 to 1936 without bead under date were minted in Calcutta.
- Coins from 1923 to 1936 with bead under date were minted in Bombay (see image).
- 1935 (b): Date style is different in the number 1. One is curved at the top with a distinct sheer drop on its furthest right top extremity. The left hand stop is closer to the inside of the scroll. Also, it has a curved bottom . The Other is a flat top and straight with a very shallow point and has a straight bottom.
