Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during a time of significant political and economic change in Iran. The reign of Tahmasb II Safavi (1722-1732) saw the country facing challenges from foreign powers, including the Ottoman Empire, and the coinage of this period reflects the economic and political instability of the time. The 1 Abbasi coin, in particular, was minted in the city of Tabriz, which was an important center of trade and commerce in the region. Despite the challenges faced during this period, the 1 Abbasi coin remains a valuable and sought-after collector's item among numismatists today.
