Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the ¼ Thaler coin from the Bishopric of Salzburg is that it features a unique design element - a small shield with the coat of arms of the bishopric, which was added to the obverse side of the coin. This shield was not present on earlier issues of the coin, and its inclusion on the 1767 issue was likely done to signify the coin's connection to the bishopric and to differentiate it from other coins in circulation.
