Interesting fact

The ⅙ Thaler coin from the Margraviate of Brandenburg-Ansbach was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to use a copper-nickel alloy in its production. This was a significant innovation at the time, as most coins were made of pure silver or gold. The use of a copper-nickel alloy made the coin more durable and resistant to wear and tear, and it paved the way for the use of similar alloys in future coinage.
