Interesting fact
The coin features an image of Frederick, the ruling prince of Waldeck-Pyrmont, on one side, and an image of the Waldeck-Pyrmont coat of arms on the other. The coat of arms includes a shield with three parts: the first part shows three golden lions, the second part shows a golden eagle, and the third part shows a golden lion. This design was used by the House of Waldeck, a noble family that ruled the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont from 1625 to 1918.
