Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the ½ Thaler - Charles VI (Kuttenberg) 1719 coin from the Kingdom of Bohemia is that it features a unique design element - a small hole in the center of the coin. This hole was intentionally drilled into the coin as a way to test its authenticity, as counterfeiters at the time were known to produce coins with a solid center. The presence of the hole in the center of the coin served as a way to verify its legitimacy and ensure that it was indeed made of silver, rather than a cheaper metal. This feature is a distinct characteristic of this particular coin and sets it apart from other coins of the time.
