Interesting fact

The ¼ Stuiver "Vierling" coin from the Duchy of Guelders was made of copper, but it was also minted in a unique way. The coin was produced using a process called "four-square" minting, where the coin was struck four times with a square-shaped die to create a distinctive shape. This process was used to create a coin that was easily recognizable and harder to counterfeit.
