Comment
According to Louis-Pol Delestrée, this coin illustrates the very first Riedones minting in gold. This type already shows the wheel under the horse which is not yet androcephalic as in the series which will follow in billon, but keeps the lyre of the series of the same name which was issued in the neighboring countries to the North-East and to the East of the Riedonian countries.Interesting fact
The Riedones coin features a unique combination of symbols, with the lyre representing music and poetry, and the rowel (a type of spur) symbolizing strength and courage. This combination suggests that the people of Riedones valued both artistic expression and military prowess.
