Reverse

Tree flanked by two horizontal ornamental symbols; below, broken line in the shape of a sickle with two pointed rings.

Comment

Although unifaced, this type of coin is associated with the series commonly called “at the boat” with a “shaft and broken line” reverse. This example has two ringlets above the broken line, as on the DT. 253 example.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique combination of symbols, including a boat and rings, which may have been used to represent the importance of trade and commerce in the region where it was minted.
