Interesting fact
The ¼ Speciedaler coin from Norway, issued during the reign of King Frederik III in 1663, features an interesting design element. The obverse side of the coin bears the image of the king, while the reverse side features the coat of arms of Norway, which includes a lion holding an axe. This design was meant to symbolize the king's power and authority, as well as Norway's status as a sovereign nation.
