Interesting fact
The obverse of the coin features a portrait of King Frederick I, who reigned from 1720 to 1751. The coin was minted during his reign, and it's interesting to note that Frederick I was the first Swedish king to issue coins with his own portrait. This was a departure from the previous practice of featuring the image of the Swedish coat of arms on coins. The inclusion of the king's portrait on the coin was a sign of the increasing power and influence of the Swedish monarchy during this time period.
